Does what it claims.

This bag is ridiculous!!! Super compact and big once rolled out. I used it to sleep outside and placed my sleeping bag inside of it one night and second night I slept directly inside this with sleeping bag around. Like pointed around it does not breathe well and you will sweat. After overnight, make sure to put the bag to dry as musty smell will develop due to sweat. Great product for emergencies or use over sleeping bag on a cold night. My sleeping bag is rated to 50f and the combination worked like a charm.
Somewhat durable survival sleeping bag
Tim M.✓ Verified Purchase•September 20, 2023
This emergency sleeping bag will work well for emergencies or occasional use if handled carefully. It is not durable enough for regular or long term use IMO. It is VERY warm as I tested it in 35 degree morning while wearing my pajamas with no sweater or jacket and I was toasty. If you like ultra light backpacking in chilly or even cold weather you should consider adding this to loadout. The 4 star rating has to do with returning the sleeping to the stowage bag. When stowing the sleeping bag after use, the stowage bag seems to be too small as I find it near impossible to expel all the trapped air from the sleeping bag. The result is a sleeping bag with enough trapped air to prevent fitting in the stowage bag. I eventually just put it in a gallon size zip lock back.
Thin, susceptable to "sweating" in damp weather, very warm.

This is warm, but the material is thin and fragile. One should expect to accumulate dampness inside when it is used in humid weather. On the other hand it would be water resistant against rain and snow unless it is torn.
Nice

A bit delicate nonetheless it will serve as purpose in a pinch particularly when used in conjunction with a another type of sleeping bag.

I didn't want to leave a review in either direction as I have not been able to test it out doors yet. I don't like to leave unfair or biased reviews so I am keeping my review of this product a 5 star.
Once I am able to use it, I will adjust the stars and review accordingly. Hopefully the product stays 5 stars especially for the price it's a great addition to everyone's "bug out" bag or survival kit.
Over the course of a few years I've been steadily adding survival gear to a storage container. Anytime I come across gear that could potentially be useful I add it in. This slow additions keeps me from feeling the pains of spending all at once and before you know it you have a good stockpile of gear, goods, and supplies for the SHTF scenarios.
