The media could not be loaded. I have to admit, I had my doubts about this working for MY Yorkie. She is 7 years old and is a very anxious traveler. Usually whining and crying. I've never found a way to travel with her that made us both comfortable. My wife and I recently purchased fat bikes and she always hates it when we leave her at home. But it's just easier to leave her than watch her suffer through the stress and anxiety of traveling. We received the carrier the next day! We took our time configuring the straps to the correct length and I found it comfortable to wear the harness. I LOVE the way they put the side zippers in and the velcro straps. The carrier unfolds so that putting the dog inside is an absolute breeze. I was blown away by how after only a brief moment of struggle (which I now think was just her adjusting herself in the carrier) she settled in. Completely non-plexed. We got on the bikes and went on a 45 minute ride. She seemed to be enjoying it!! I was so amazed. Finally I can take my baby with me and not worry about her anxiety.
The carrier seems well built. Is recommended as one of the top pet carriers by the New York times. I followed the measuring recommendations to the letter and decided on a medium for my 8lb Yorkie. She fits perfectly. I am so very grateful for a solution to a long time problem.

Mom takes me everywhere in my carrier because my puppy shots aren't done yet. I'm super comfortable and mom says it's really easy to get me in and out. Mom recommends using a harness instead of a collar when using a carrier. This one has a safety strap to catch me in the event the zippers have some sort of catastrophic failure or I manage to wiggle my way out (which I can do) and if the safety strap needs to catch me, a harness is much safer. Mom has never had a problem taking me into any stores using my carrier, but we live in a very dog friendly city (Most of our stores have dog bowls outside.) Mom has use of both her hands when I'm in my carrier, so she can do her shopping, eating, texting, Instagramming and everything else without having to worry about my safety. I will warn you though, this is super cute and strangers reach out and pet me all the time without considering I'm on mom's chest...ahem! 😂 the straps are adjustable and quite comfortable. Mom took off the pads that come on the straps because they were more trouble than comfortable. I'm only 5.3 lbs, so pads aren't necessary. The fabric on the outside is soft and doesn't bother mom and the inside is lined with soft fabric for my comfort too. There are 3 holes on bottom for my back paws and tail and 2 up top for my front paws. There is a zipper on either side, along with a Velcro tab by each of my shoulders. I'm held snuggly & mom and I both feel safe.

I really like this carrier and my 4 pound Morkie does too. (Smallest size fits perfect) The only thing I worry about is the neck part, he hasn't acted like it has bothered him though. He has separation anxiety so I think this makes him feel secure. I would say probably use this short periods of time so their legs won't go to sleep and won't hurt their back/neck. He looks so cute in this!!

Our very adventurous pup turned seven and was having issues with her hips and knees last year. We ordered this thinking, yeah let's see. We have carried her for up to six miles multiple times, it's been washed very regularly, used multiple times a week for over a year now and is still going strong. We were heartbroken when we learned she wouldn't be able to walk as far anymore, but this has allowed us to continue to hit the trails and gives her an entirely different perspective!
I will warn you, if you have lower back pain, this may not be the product for you. I find this makes any lower aches I have worse. But we also carry her for miles. So take it with a grain of salt if you don't plan on taking your pet very far. I also find that walking down hill my dog sometimes gasps for air like the neck strap sits a bit to high. It's never usually a problem, just going downhill and by now, I just know to pull her backward when walking downward. These are my only notes for improvement.

Otherwise, 10/10.
