I actually sewed two together to fit the didth of my king bed and I love them. Here in Florida we just don't need heavy blankets most of the year, so this is the perfect weight for my house at night during our three seasons of summer. After I washed them a few times the stiffness is gone and they are much softer to the touch, too.
