Good crampons but need two improvements to be great

Bought these without any reviews based on the pictures and the design. Used them in ice and snow in RMNP on all types of trails. They were sure footed and did what they should.
Two issues:
1. The screw used to adjust the length and then lock it into place is very small and short and due to having to hold the crampon to the correct length to refit it, it repeatedly dropped, needing a search and retry. This could easily be solved with a captured screw on the top piece as it meets the bottom piece of the adjusting slide. I spent about 5 minutes a shoe doing this. Very annoying for what should be a 1 minute adjustment.
2. The adjusting strap would be better placed on the inside of the shoe rather than the outside and with a better locking clamp; three of them pulled loose on use, and reattaching in 20º weather with bare hands is less than optimum. Straps like this would be better: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81ErDbeFb3L._SL1500_.jpg The securing mechanism is good.
If these two issues are fixed, these would rate 5 stars.

Best bang for the buck for hiking in snow and ice.

Crampons are well made, solid "teeth" and rubber connection points. I own some Camp crampons and these were just as easy to adjust and similarly made except the teeth are little shorter on these compared to the Camps. These fit on my size 12 Salomon GTX boots on the biggest sized setting with no problems. If your boots are 13+, you will not be able to wear these. Will be trying these out hiking in the Tetons in a couple of weeks. The front "teeth" are too short if you are considering these for any type of ice wall climb but these can't be beat for the price for hiking in snow and ice.
Great Cleats

I bought two pairs for climbing Mt. St Helens during 4th July. I didn't realize I need a bag to carry it until I get the product. The bag keeps the Crampons safe and slim in my backpack. It is easy to fit my shoe with the tool in the bag. The crampon grabs both wet snow and hard ice well either upward and downward. Do remember to take it off when you glissade down on the ice.
Good basic crampon

Just got back from a hike in the , White Mts. of ,NH. They had good bite into the snow and I didn't slip at all. On the really steep stuff I would have liked to have had longer teeth on them but I still managed. The only problem that I have with them is that the screw used to tighten the length got so loose that it came off and the other screws worked themselves loose and needed to be tightened after the trip. I'm satisfied with them but now that I will be doing more winter hiking , I'm going to invest in a better pair.
