Love it! This is well made, easy to and has a good, clear light. I'm a NP that works part time in a psych hospital doing H&Ps and medical consults. The exam rooms don't always have what I need so I count on having my own equipment. This otoscope is light and fits easily in a pocket. It came with two bulbs in the package, one is a spare spare bulb. Since I am not mechanical at all, I put the first bulb in upside down and had to take the scope apart to retrieve it and put it in the right way. For similarly mechanically challenged people, the bulb part goes toward the top. I don't think the screws on the bottom screw into anything, but don't take *my* word for it.

This is my 2nd otoscope (1st one was a different brand), and it is better than the one I had been using. I only use it for home use to keep an eye out for and on ear infections in my kids. I have been able to use it on my son and keep an eye on his ruptured ear drum. It is nice and bright, the switch is easy to turn on and off and once the batteries are in there's a nice weight to it. The only thing I wish was better is it seems to be a little blurry. I would have liked it to have a better focus on what I'm looking at, but I can definitely see clearly enough to see if there's an infection or not and that's most important. Overall I think it's a great tool for home use and I'm happy with my purchase.

I think this piece of equipment was very fairly priced. Actually a nice surprise. It is not flimsy and has a nice feel in the hand. There is an operative head which I find nice when it comes times to snare a piece of wax.
My only complaint is that the light could be a little brighter.
