This is the second time I've purchased this paddle. It has a soft feel and is it's easy to impart spin. I have a large hand and the over sized grip is a plus. For a lot less money, you don't sacrifice quality or performance.

3.5 player. Have played this paddle for about 16 months. Good for beginner and intermediate play. Decent grit. Good shot control. Very comfortable grip. Sufficient power but not a power paddle. Acceptable sweet spot, few mishits. On second paddle because first developed an odd rattle and shiver even on center hits. Niupipo replaced and been playing current paddle for over one year trouble-free. Explorer Pro is now an "older" model rather than state-of-art but I like it enough to continue playing until I find something that I like better. Have four paddles and still my "go-to". (My wife also has 2 paddles that are two and three times the price. Both are very popular but not for me.)
