replaced a RO system which had a 3/8" drain with a APEC 5 stage. the APEC has a 1/4" drain so I bought this faucet to retain the air gap and keep the original drain fitting. very easy to install, just pop the insert in and a philips driver to tighten. the ears pop out and cinched it down. attach hoses underneath and twist on the faucet until it clicks. took me couple of tries to get the insert tight enough so it didn't move when attaching faucet. nice looking piece. the spout itself has a machined and polished look to it.

Needed a code compliant RO faucet in a brushed finish and this is the nicest one I've every installed.
Very easy to install with the mounting screws accessible on the top and it's not noisy. Most air gap faucets tend to be a bit noisy as you can hear the water trickling through the air gap but not this one.
