Didn't buy for shower, just for a cheap timer to monitor kids TV usage

The media could not be loaded. I really like this timer it may have bad reviews for the shower but I didn't use it for that. I was looking for a cheap timer that not only told time but also kind of count it down visually for the kids in the house who can't tell time. I use this timer primarily for a TV timer to limit the kids screen time and sometimes reward them with an hour or 30min of TV time for good behaviors prizes.
Even though I bought for kids I have taken a liking to this thing I practically used for everything ranging from a homework timer/ food timer/ pretty much anything I need to time around the house. The large print is so large it's just my go to timer now.
Some of the other timers that counted down visually were very expensive all because they were labeled homework timers and TV timers. But after realizing that a timer is a timer, & I didn't care what it was called on the description. I ended up settling for this shower timer.
& glad I did ,It's perfect just what I was looking for reasonable prices, large numbers and a visual countdown. I even get an extra bonus of it telling the temperature in the house which is neat.

I really have been looking for something that has a hydrometer and temp/time/alarm for a while that could work in my shower/steam shower. I tried other ones that just die after a week becuase they are not made for such humid/wet conditions. Then I stumbled upon this unit and was excited to finally of found a unit that was made for the shower! The biggest issues by far are the choice to use these touch buttons. Why? They are the worst in wet conditions. Think about trying to use your touch screen phone when the screen is wet or your fingers are soaked. They never work right, the humidity makes the buttons do things that you didn't do. Example...I set a 10 min timer and then 5min into the shower it just turns it off or changes it to 99 mins... sucks. Also the humidity gets stuck at HH for days sometimes...thought this was made for the shower? Last, it needs a backlight, way too dark to see. With all of that said, it's the best i have found so far.

This has been a great addition pool side. However it has a mind of its own and randomly starts the timer. Might be getting splashed and setting it off.

This clock has been in my shower area for almost a year now. It has held up great. I have never had to change the batteries. The suction cup didn't say very well though and I hung it with the command style hook provided.

I wanted to shorten my shower time. My parents have always been on my case about how long I take to shower, but I began to realize it was really taking too long and cutting too much into my day.
