At 30 bucks a pair, I was cautious. Now the ups, they are bright, well constructed and look much better than the Hella round ones that they replaced. Glass seems strong only some gravel roads will tell in the long run. They are light in weight and come with decent hardware. Only down side is adjusting the level can be an issue because the screws are way low on the back and my mounts made it difficult to adjust them to level. It would be helpful if the light bracket had an option to have the bracket sit higher so as to have more clearance for the set screws. All in all I like them. I drove out in the rain today with overcast and they even lit up street signs with overcast. Can't wait to see how bright they are at night. It would also be good if they offered covers for them. Some states will fail them on inspection if they are not tied to the high beams to shut off. I drive an unimproved road in the sticks a lot so will run both high beams and these. If I have covers during inspection it would pass as is. I had a 52" light bar and these two small lights put our more light. I will be putting a rack on top of my Jeep Wrangler and most likely by two pair to mount front and back on the rack with a separate switch. They will great for lighting up the boat ramp. Okay went for a drive, first thing I noticed is how wide the beam is, its great for country roads when the deer are moving. Good range could see the lettering on a street sign at almost a half a mile. Tips, use a level to get them aligned vertically and a straight edge so the are in line with each other. Current draw was low and when combined with high beams super on the unimproved country road to my lease property.

These are really good but ours didn't come with the mounting brackets that are in the picture with them.

installed on a 2001 crown vic. older car headlights are pathetic. put these on to help me see on the backroads. work great. they aren't 240watts though. more like 24 watts. did the math and some real life testing they pull about 3.8 amps. everyone says run a 15 amp fuse. math tells me to run a 5 amp fuse. for my car and what i use them for they are great. they light up the road and make me feel like i'm driving a newer car. the hardware feels cheap. but it works. if you have a newer car (2010 or newer) these probably won't make too much a difference seeing how most all newer cars have pretty good head lights. i could see these being good for older cars, ATVs or utility lights on some off-roading trucks. for the price you can't beat them.
