I ordered this bag and the Diaper Bag Tote for comparison. I love this version better, but the webbing straps are not comfortable. REALLY wish there was a PU strap version. Still debating which one to keep based on comfort. Additionally the outside pockets on this one are a bit tighter than the Tote style. The Tote style while it has the PU straps and larger outside pockets, I'm NOT a fan of the additional handle strap as it just is in the way and falls over the front. Really torn on which one to keep!

I have both the Miss Fong and MF Store bags in these photos for comparison. I originally purchased the tote bag style and I really thought I'd love it but it was just too bulky. :( I wasn't too keen on this style but over so many months of contemplating my options, still not having a bag with a 5mo old and nothing else I just loved, I started liking the look of this one. So, I bought this bag hoping to get the grey interior but it showed up with the yellow interior and although I almost kept it, I thought I wouldn't be able to deal with the yellow, so I returned it. Miss Fong responded quickly to my inquiry about the interior and let me know that one is the new color and one is the old and she doesn't have control over which one gets shipped from inventory. So, I was still without a diaper bag and decided to order this one again as well as the MF Store bag and that I'd pick the one I liked more of the two to keep. And here's how that went...

The yellow interior really wasn't so bad to look at everyday like I thought it'd be and the grey wasn't as nice as it looks in the photos. The yellow doesn't have any mesh/netting pockets like the grey. Instead, it is just the interior material throughout, which I prefer. Other than this, the only other real differences in the pockets is that the Miss Fong bag has a big pocket in the back of the interior and a 3rd pocket in the very back. As you can see from the straps, you have seat belt material or faux leather material. I originally thought the faux leather straps would look nicer but I think they would leave unwanted bulk as they don't "fall" like the seat belt straps and would just make an overall "strap-y" bag too "strap-y." So, while I ended up preferring the yellow color to the dull and dark grey, the material on the pockets throughout to the netting and the extra pockets to the ones with less pockets, I ended up choosing the MF Store one MAINLY because of the zippers. The teeth on the zippers on the Miss Fong were a bit sharper and the zipper wasn't as smooth. Everyone has their dealbreakers or deciding factors and this was mine. The difference in the zippers was too noticeable. Sticking my hand in and out and feeling the teeth scratch. Zipping and unzipping and it getting caught. And the Miss Fong only has one zipper on top as opposed to the MF Store which has two. I also prefer the shape of the squared zippers on the MF Store over the rounded ones on the Miss Fong. There was ever so slightly a difference in color of the faux leather exteriors with the Miss Fong being the tinsiest bit lighter in color and personally more preferable but, again, the zippers trumped that. I really don't like long reviews but since I spent so much time (months and months and returns) on these bags I thought I should leave what I saw fit in case others were in this predicament. I think both are super great options and maybe the zipper is hardly noticeable or even just fine for some people. With the zippers in mind, I still recommend this bag.

I have been searching for the perfect diaper bag. I have owned a few different bags but can't seem to find a perfect fit. When my daughter was an infant, I loved my Skip Hop Grand Central but it's massive and I don't pack as much anymore. Now that my daughter is 14 months, I need something hands free. I tried the Skip Hop Forma Backpack but it didn't have enough internal organization for my needs. I also didn't think it was classy enough to wear to church or nice events. I took a picture of both for size comparison. I liked the look of the Fawn Design but could never afford it so I tried this bag. I really like it. There are a few things I wish I could change about it but all in all, it's my favorite bag right now. I've tried switching to one of my other bags but I switch right back a few minutes later. I do wish it had a grab handle, not the strap that the newer version comes with, but a more traditional backpack grab handle. I purchased mine before the addition of the removable grab handle strap. I also don't care for the back zipper pocket where the wipes are supposed to go. I found it too difficult to get the wipes out (I was using a Huggies Clutch & Clean). I tried putting other things in that pocket but when the bag is packed full, that slit in the back gaps open a bit and I was afraid my items would fall out. I would prefer it to be a regular pocket. I also wish there was a large pocked on the back of the bag. I don't like putting my daugher's Indestructible Book in the main compartment. I can't find a good fit for it. It would also be a good place to store papers when I go to the doctor. One last think I would change is to make the outside side pockets bigger - shaped more like the Forma pockets.The side pockets on the Miss Fong get pretty tight if you have bottles, or really any item, in the inside insulated pocket. In one side pocket I keep my phone and in the other some lotion and Babyganics hand sanitizer. I do love that this bag has insulated bottle pockets. I also love the material and overall look of the bag. I haven't had any problems with the hardware breaking .I also love their customer service. I like that it has a lot of internal organization. I only pack with 2 pouches but everything else just goes in the pockets of the Miss Fong. I have attached a few pictures. There is one that shows what I have in the main compartment (accept for the large zipper pocket near the front. I use that for receipts, coupons, etc.) The little zipper pockets on either side are actually pretty useful. On one side, I have a BooginHead sippy cup tether and in the other are my loyalty cards, gift cards, etc. and a pen. In the front slip pocket, I keep my keys and a thin card holder that I use as my wallet. I really love this bag but I still don't think it's the last diaper bag I'll try. I really want to get the Itzy Ritzy Triple Threat but it's out of my price range. I have sold off some of my other bags but I don't think I'll ever get rid of this one though. It works well and is stylish. **Sorry, some of the pictures uploaded sideways and I can't figure out how to fix it.

I love love this diaper bag. The color is beautiful. It fits supplies for two children. Well made. And I get so many compliments. I bought this before the birth of my 7th child and I have been thru some diaper bags and this one is my favorite for sure!!

I haven't used the bag so this review is only on my initial impressions. I'm the type of person that needs to put my hands on a bag, especially if I'm going to spend more than $40. With the times, that wasn't possible so I ordered a bunch to compare. I wanted something grey/neutral to wear year round. I purchased 6 bags- 3 grey and 3 black because they didn't come in grey. I ultimately
Chose this bag. Here are my observations.

1) Mrs Fong leather diaper bag backpack (regular- grey)- material was super soft and buttery, good quality for being fake leather and better quality than the two other Mrs Fong bags I bought. The zipper was pretty good until the corner where it originates. It gets hung up on the curve but after that it runs smoothly. The straps are decent quality and are able to cinch pretty tight. Backpacks should be high on your back to center the weight, not hanging low on your lower back. The straps are able to adjust a good bit. The pockets are great size internally and will hold bottles well. The outer pockets are too tight to hold a wide neck bottle but you could squeeze a standard bottle but it's tight. Loved this one the best for overall look and usability.

2) Mrs Fong backpack for women (grey)- this is not a diaper bag but I wanted to try it. The leather isn't as realistic as the above bag. It has two insulated pockets on each side outside but they're not large. It's a nice backpack but it doesn't have enough internal storage for baby stuff and no insulated pockets internally. The zipper on this bag was the best quality as it want a cheep metal but a standard plastic zipper. The only issue I jd with this bag was the straps were too long. With them cinched you as tight as possible the bag still hang too low on my back. If I didn't have a newborn I might choose this one if the straps fit properly (I'm 5'8" and small frame).

3) Itsy Ritzy Diaper Bag- loved this bag and the quality. Loved the structure and the footpads on the bottom. The straps were perfect length and well made. I would've purchased this one but it was too small. I'm a minimalist and this is my 4th child but it's still too small for me and a newborn.

4) Mominside diaper bag backpack- loved this bag! The quality material was very soft and the straps were good quality and length. The only thing I hated was that the straps that you tighten hung down like a school backpack which looks cheap to me. The hardware feels cheep to me as well but what's interesting to me is that all the Mrs Fong bags and this one had identical hardware which tells me it all came from the same factory in China. This bag was very lightweight yet held a whole lot! It was my second favorite bag and had it come in grey I would've had a hard time choosing. It's not as wide as the Mrs Fong grey diaper bag but it's taller to hold the same amount. They also did a great job on internal organization and it was pretty close to the same lay out as this bag on this page.

5) Mrs Fong black diaper bags backpack (fancy front tassel pulls)- this bag looks great and I loved the hassle pulls and all the outer pockets but the material felt fake, and was def different than this Mrs Fong bag and it was extremely Heavy! I would not want to lug this around with extra stuff in it. It's the biggest of the 6 bags but what I really didn't like was how it sagged when you wore it liley due to its weight. It did have large side pockets externally that would fit a large water bottle.

6) Miger leather diaper bag backpack (with bottom compartment)- loved the idea of this bag and all of its pockets and storage compartments. The material was soft and nice quality but it's hardware was also cheap. The zipper was very smooth. The thing I didn't like about this bag was the bottle insulated pockets were so large as if the elastic as stretched out. A standard bottle is def going to tip, not necessarily spill, but will lean. The straps on this bag were way too long as well. Even cinched all the way up, this bag sunk to my butt and would've been uncomfortable carrying around the weight not centered higher on my back.
