For me, it does what it is supposed to do. It holds my phone while it is attached to the steering wheel of my car. I end up doing a lot of emails and stuff while I'm out and waiting on things. So, I used to have this suction cup arm that I would attach to the windshield or the window and use that to hold my phone, but that was bulky and doesn't always hold. I ended up getting this to do the job, and it works great for it.
I like that it grips from the sides instead of the top or bottom so that it doesn't get in the way of cables. I've never really needed to use the corner band things to hold my phone. I've never actually used this on a bike or in a highly active way.

Bought this to secure my phone to my child's stroller so she can be distracted by streaming shows while I shop. It is made well and attaches to our stroller handle nicely however because the handle is foam it leaves a mark on the handle when we take it off. We haven't used it that much yet so it's too early to know if it will cause permanent damage to the stroller handle. There were two pieces in the box and it took both me and my husband a few tries to figure out how to attach the pieces. There were no instructions included. We also received back up bands that secure the phone but realistically I didn't find a need to even use the ones that are initially attached since the phone felt securely tightened without them, but I guess if you're using this to attach to a bike it's a nice feature to have. You can use it both horizontally and vertically.

This product is very functional, with one draw back. The rubber bands at the corners that are supposed to secure the phone are pretty worthless using my iPhone 7s. I had to remove my hard protective cover to get them on. Even after doing that they slip off the phone corners.
I've found the two spring loaded bars on the sides do a fine job securing the phone, even with the hard cover on. I've ridden many miles with just them securing the phone with no problems. Most people know how much a Harley shakes at idle. I've had no problems with the phone being secure. One suggestion to the manufacturer would be to put a small shelf at the bottom for extra security from slipping down.
Otherwise, it is easy to mount and gyrates to many usable positions.

I finally gave up looking for a decent and inexpensive mount for my GPS on a golf cart. Push carts and even GPS manufacturers have very limited and expensive options that only work one way. I have a Garmin G8 that I switch between a Clicgear and Stewart Golf manual push carts - this is perfect.
It comes mostly assembled with a very simple clamp for holding on a round handle. The piece that holds the device has two securing approaches - an expanding clamp and rubber straps. Since the G8 is small and I'm not mountain biking the clamp works fine by itself. I was able to mount the GPS in such a way it doesn't interfere with the handles so it doesn't affect pushing or pulling the cart. It also holds the device at a great angle so it's easy to read and input information. Finally - the gripping mechanism doesn't damage or mar the handles.
