This sprinkler is the best garden tool I've ordered in years! It is heavy enough it doesn't move or roll over when the water is turned on and the watering pattern selections are very useful for my situation. It has extra features like the screen covering the hose intake and the little tool to clean out the sprinkler heads. I usually end up buying a couple of cheap sprinklers each summer because they just break or quit working. This heavy duty sprnkler, I'm sure, will last me for years. Great value for the money!

This Metal Base Oscillating Sprinkler is made of mostly metal and feels very well constructed. It the base (said to be indestructible) weighs enough that it won't easily move around when placed at a location in the yard. The water hose input already has a rubber gasket with wire screen to filter out debris, because debris will definitely clog the water output nozzles.
The connector is well protected where the hose attaches, and that's a very good thing because that's where a lot of flexing happens. My last oscillating sprinkler broke off at that location because it was cheap plastic and not protected from the hose flexing the connection.
This sprinkler is super easy to adjust! There are two levers (aka slider tabs) on top of the sprinkler that you move back and forth to match the degree of oscillation you need. That's it. Easy to see what you're doing and very easy to adjust.

Impressive overall. Good price. Just watch out, the parts underneath need to be able to move freely. I mounted one to a ladder, and it was making contact underneath, causing it to click and not oscillate. but I figured out the problem, remounted it differently, and it works great. And so quiet, as compared to impact sprinklers! Does not cover as large an area as my impacts, but I am happy with it.

Martha's oscillating sprinkler has become my favorite garden purchase of 2019. With the unbearable heat my location suffers, residents tend to keep their grass a bit high, for protection. If you try to set up one of the flimsy, practially weightless plastic sprinklers, it's almost impossible to position them the way you need, in taller grass. They're flipping over, they're sideways. This one -- NO problem. It's solid and heavy.
The throw is fantastic. It will cover a large surface area, enabling a good watering session without having to move the sprinkler, saving time. The spray is strong, with a slow rotation, that seems to tolerate some wind better than my previous sprinklers.
Overall this is a great performer. It would be perfect if you could adjust the width of spray, but for me, it's fine. I can perfectly water the main areas of my back and front yards with just one session each. No more dragging around my old sprinklers to water areas missed.
This is my first Stewart item, but had heard that she insists on quality behind her name, so I thought I'd try an item for myself. It makes me willing to try other products.
