I appreciated the clear assembly instructions and the fact that one can assembly the unit quickly (in about 15 minutes) without tools or stress. The commode works well, feels pretty sturdy, and the little toilet paper holder is a nice touch. When not using it for over-the-toilet, remember to remove the splash guard piece for easier cleaning. This type of unit is always a little prone to being able to tip over, so it's best if it's up against a wall, but even in the middle of a room (where we need to place it), it felt sturdy.

I needed this after a hip replacement and it has worked well, albeit on the small side for me. I'm a 260 lb guy and feel sturdy on it. I fit in between the arms, but it's a bit snug. Any bigger than me and you might have an issue. I set it up to use over a toilet as opposed to a stand alone unit. The only issue I have is that the seat is round and not elongated. It makes it a little tough for me to use on the front side when sitting, if you know what I mean. If it were any bigger though it wouldn't fit over my commode space. Just something to take into consideration when buying. Hope this helps!
