My favorite vegan restaurant makes a dish with this type of meat in it and I swear each time that it can't be vegan, but it is.... So, I found this product online and wanted to see how it compared to what I get when I eat out at this restaurant. Well, I must say that it is pretty spot on. For being vegan or a plant based eater, this worked just great for me and the rest of my family loved it to. I soaked the product in a pot of hot water that was on the stove on simmer and I used the vegan beef broth to flavor the water with some other seasoning. I set a small lid inside the pot that rested on top of the product and weighted it down into the flavored water and I let simmer for 40 minutes. I drained the product of excess liquid and stir fried and made broccoli beef with rice! Amazing!!
