I had to replace my old paddle and decided on going a bit different than the typical Stiga or Butterfly. Saw this Airblades and thought I'd give it a shot. I was willing to get the 6 star paddle but none were available so got the 3 star since all that was different was the type of wood used.

The grip on this is alright. I've played with much stickier pads and this one seems to be more of a "matte" kind of grip rather than sticky (probably easier to clean too). This paddle can put spin as you want without problem. The logo, as others have mentioned, is kind of in the way and different texture as the rest of the pad. I haven't had any problems but just a note.

The handle was probably the selling point for me. Looks aggressive and feels comfortable in the hand (when held the right way). It does feel weird when it's flipped the other way but not often do I flip the paddle during a real match.

My only con and deduction of a star would be the hollow sound it makes when hitting the ball. Sounds like there's "dead" spots on the paddle where wood isn't present. Maybe this is the difference between the 6 star and the 3 star, but definitely noticeable when playing. I feel like I would have to hit the ball a little harder than usual to makeup for the hollow spots. Otherwise, it hits the ball over the net lol

Overall, I would say this is am all around casual paddle. Good for pick up games and relaxing matches with your people. Looks to be of good quality and should last years if taken care of. I do have to add that the case it comes in is sturdy and stylish. I would recommend this to anyone wanting something different and not your typical black/red paddle!

I purchased this paddle for my kids 8th birthday and he absolutely loves it. The handle is amazing and has allowed him to easily change from forehand to backhand for our speed play sessions. The case is also high quality and a really nice touch that adds to the overall value. I own several high end paddles but find myself gravitating back to this one when my son isn't around just because it's so fun to hold and use.

Liked everything about this paddle except the handle was too small for my comfort. Easy return process++

I'm in my 40's.

I start this review with my age because ping pong / table tennis is an ignored sport amongst most of the younger generations, but a good portion of us born pre-1985 are still in love with this game & constantly searching for competition within our home towns.

After canvassing my city for a long stretch, I found some enthusiastic ping pong players more interested in this sport than video games, so I bought a premium, new ping pong table.

I woke up a group of hibernating athletes and they all wanted a new paddle / bat.

After testing multiple "top ten pong paddles" as recommended on various websites, I strayed & looked for someone who designed a paddle simply because they love the sport.

I am happy to say that the majority of my group have agreed that your 6 Star Air Blade paddle is FAR better than any Paddle on the market.

Our group truly believes it takes a lover of this game, like you Allen, to design such a revolutionary paddle.
