I purchased this to use as a ramp to load things on my truck with a hand dolly and a refrigerator mover. Would have worked better if I had gotten a longer model so the incline was not so steep, but it still worked. Also used it as a ramp to roll things over step of door threshold going into new house.

My cocker spaniel is almost 15 and has had trouble going up the two stairs to our house. I bought this ramp to make her life a bit easier and safer. Our rise is 7.5 inches so the ramp sits 15" above the ground. But at 6' in length, the slope is more than adequate for her.
The ramp is sturdy and easy to set up. It can easily support two people. I recommend putting something narrow under the ramp at each end to prevent scraping your floor or in our case, our flagstone. There's really no risk of the ramp moving out of place, as it's heavy enough to stay stationary. We leave it out, rain or shine.
It took only two days to train Biscuit (with lots of chicken). Although she's a bit more cautious going down, she now navigates the ramp in both directions with confidence and without coaxing. The sandpaper-like surface prevents slipping.
The ramp shipped right away, was securely packaged, and even arrived about a week early. I recommend this ramp and I recommend getting it while your pet is still mobile.

My mom had bought this to use of my grandma but have not been able to use it cause the weather has been bad. My grandmother is too weak & old to be out. But I"m sure it will work fine. Seems sturdy & will fit the purpose for the 3 steps in front of the house.

I use a manual wheelchair and bought this for a 5.5 inch step in my garage that leads into the house. I use this everyday and think it's great, but I needed sheetmetal screws to secure it to the top of the step. My chair and I weigh about 180 lbs total and I can still feel the ramp flex a bit. Before installing the screws my dad had this fall off the step when he walked up and he's nowhere near the weight limit.
