Great yoga mat

Great yoga mat ..... if you want to take your yoga practice to the next level ... this is THE mat for you! I had been practicing yoga for the past 9 years or so .... and my practice felt extra special yesterday when I used this mat for the first time. I have slight OCD and the lines on the mat were oh-so-perfect to make my postures even better than before.
I practice hot yoga and am used to using *yogitoes* (non-skid towel type cover) over my mat. I was a little apprehensive about slipping on the mat during some of the more difficult poses and kept my *yogitoes* by my side, just in case. To my surprise, I sailed through the class without slipping and falling on my face flat (well, my hands did slip a teeny-weeny bit while trying the toe-stand, but otherwise there were absolutely no issues) .... The map was pretty cushiony as well. I just hope the map holds good for a long time to get back my money's worth.
The only reason, I took off one star was because, it was a tad difficult to get the mat inside the carry bag provided (my clumsy-self could very well be blamed for that) afterwards.
My first use and I am a happy camper, err, yogini!

Yoga is for Tall People Too

Bought this for my BF. He is 6'1" and he complained that yoga was for small people because he had a hard time centering his long limbs or keeping himself on the mat. For a beginner mats can be an anchor point and he was not having a good time in class until this mat came into his life. The extra 4" doesn't sound like much but it made all the difference, average yoga mats are 68" x 24". The alignment guide is amazing for learning where your body needs to be to get the most out of each pose. He is still 6'1" but is now a yoga convert and reaping the benefits of regular practice with this mat.

The thickness of this mat is better than most- it's a little thicker so it is more comfortable to lay down on. Also, the markings are helpful in getting into position on the standing poses. It is light-weight and rolls up easily. I like that is comes with a carry bag that has a strap to sling over my shoulder - easy to carry to and from class.
Could be more grippy, but it's a decent mat

This mat is a good thickness. It's less thick than my plates mat, but thicker than the mats in yoga class at the gym. It looks nice and durable, but I wish it would last flat better after unrolling it and I wish the material had a little more grip.

I am really pleased with my Eco Friendly TPE Yoga Mat. I absolutely love having the beautiful markings to help me with my placement. I'm not naturally good at yoga, so this really makes me feel more confident that I'm doing my poses correctly. I would have given it 5 stars if it was just a little bit thicker and I noticed that it seems to pick up dirt easily. I usually clean my mat frequently so it's not a dealbreaker. The colors are very nice, and overall, I would highly recommend this mat or such a great price.
