I like the product very much, it's strong, durable, and obviously well made. I have no complaints, I'm really impressed by the craftsmanship of the product. One thing I would have liked to have seen it come with, is a protective cap for the exposed threads used to fasten it to the handle, that are exposed whenever the item is not assembled and ready for action.

I wanted this since it looks like a Kubotan with a spike. It comes in 3 parts. A key ring hole cap, an aluminum sheath that screws on, and the titanium pick.
I plan to use this as a keychain.
The leather strap broke immediately. So, I tossed it into the trash.
The parts close as a blunt object but the user can have the spike ready by twisting the cover on the other end.
They're secured by screwing each component. It is far from a quick ready defensive tool unless you loosen it somehow to deploy the spike.
I thought the sheath would be titanium instead of aluminum which is a disappointment so I took off one star.
Overall it will be a great self defense tool, a tool to open packages and an ice pick.
During wearing it the keychain top unscrewed. Luckily, it was turned in and I recovered it. It will need an O-Ring.
If you loosen it just to the level of the O-Ring on the other end, I can see how this will be able to do a quick draw, if necessary.

If you are looking for an ice pick that you have to unscrew, this should be on your short list. Very solid piece of steel. I would recommend if you have a need.
