This is my first deep dive on garage door opener technology and it was an eye-opener. The description of this product says that your opener must have a yellow LEARN button to use this product. What that meant to me was that the main unit must have a LEARN button in order to pair the new opener button.
BOY WAS I WRONG!
It turns out that Chamberlain and LiftMaster have color-coded LEARN buttons that allow installers, techs and end-users to select the correct opener button based on the level of the technology built into the main unit. There are yellow, gray, purple and blue LEARN buttons and you MUST buy an opener button that is matched to your main unit's LEARN button color.
I also learned that the color of the antenna wire that hangs down from your main unit is the same color as the LEARN button. Live and learn.
My Amazon seller was Open Door Discount Remotes. They had no obligation to accept a return of the product, but they did anyway, giving me full credit for my order of the wrong product. I purchased 2 replacements from them (having the correct color coding) and they were exceptionally nice about the level of my confusion and got me the correct parts quickly.
I'm giving this product a 5 star review not because of the product, but because of the exceptional customer service provided by Open Door Discount Remotes. Thanks, guys!

This controller replaced a Chamberlain part 41A7305-1. The LED display on my Chamberlain part 41A7305-1 controller inexplicably died. It turned into a solid color and that was that. Although this part seems a direct and compatible replacement, and is probably just a Chamberlain unit rebranded, I hope that the display is more reliable.

Bought the liftmaster remote for my chamberlain opener. Why? It was quite a bit cheaper than the one that said "chamberlain" and it is the same remote button.
