Not many universal remotes work with GTO Mighty Mule gates, but this one does. Getting it to learn the codes from all my remotes took several tries, but eventually the light flashed quickly indicating success. (I had to press the transmitter button repeatedly, not hold it steady.) I was able to teach it two old Liftmaster 61LM remotes from 1996 and a newer Liftmaster 371LM remote from 2010, as well as my GTO RB741 (DIP switch) remote. Awesome product!

My HOA said it couldn't be done. They said I had to keep a fob remote for the gate opener plus a visor remote for my garage opener. Worse, if I wanted a second fob from them... $50.
I knew there had to be a better way. In these times of keyless start, who wants to rummage through the console for a fob remote to open the gate?
This remote was the answer.
Easily cloned my Linear ACT-34B signal, then cloned my Codedodger remote to my Overhead Odyssey 1000 opener. Then all I had to do was learn it to the Overhead opener. Now I have one small remote for both openers that clips to my visor. I bought one for each car.
Range is great, as soon as I can see my gate/door, the remote will open it. The range might be much farther, but I have no need for a greater distance.
The only minor demerit is the buttons are not labeled well. It is difficult to see how many marks are on each button. I would prefer a large markings or tactile dots to distinguish the buttons. Not a big issue, I just orient the remote so that the button closest to front and center is the gate, and the other front button is the garage door.

This was the first remote I found (after trying many) that worked on our community gate and our garage doors. It easily paired from the existing remotes just like built in Homelink (which my car unfortunately doesn't have).
