Previous leather slip-on work boots finally gave up the ghost. I had a hard time finding a replacement until I saw these on Amazon. The boot appeared to be high quality and was able to get on sale. It will take some time before I know how will hold up but I was not disappointed with the quality. Also taking the brown boot which actually looks quite good and natural, also saved significant amount. As soon as I tried on first time they already felt comfortable and fit was what I expected. It also was tight where I felt it should be getting past the heel knowing that because leather it would stretch to fit and it has. Relatively easy to get on, but remains in place while walking or working. I use these primarily for work on my property caring for fields and woods on the 280 acres. Also for working in the shop on cars and equipment. All-in-all I am very happy with the boot.

First off I'll start this off by saying I don't normally buy boots like this. I'm a fireman and usually buy the lace up work boots. These when I first put them on I thought, great I can't even slide my foot in this thing. Then after wearing in one shift, the next day it slide in pretty well. It was still a little difficult. The 3rd day I wore them it's beginning to get easier but the top of the boot hugs the foot tight while the calf is loose. My foot will not rub up and down where it rubs blisters. I can tell it will take some time to break in fully but so far not too bad. It washes clean and is absolutely water proof. The seams are sewn and glued so I don't believe it's a bad product. I did buy a half size bigger than I normally do just in case my foot was too wide and I'm glad I did so if you're foot is on the wide side it worked for me but like I said this is my first time purchasing a boot like this.

It's broken in a lot more. Everything about it has been perfect EXCEPT it makes your foot SWEAT!! I don't mind it too much but you can definitely tell. I wish I'd have known how much it would break it and if the size I normally wear would've fit. I'll never know.
