The size that I purchased was perfect for my everyday needs while on vacation. It holds a lot more than you think and I felt super comfortable knowing that people couldn't just open it when it was on my back. The transition from backpack to shoulder bag was very useful whenever I had to retrieve anything. My only dislike is how uncomfortable the straps are, especially when I had a sleeveless shirt or dress. I don't think I would purchase it again for a trip but maybe for shorter uses it wouldn't be so uncomfortable.

My first bag was purchased in 2018, this is my 4th one I bought and have no doubt I will get more. I had solid black, solid grey, black and white plaid, and now the elephant. It has been all over the world with me and I LOVE this bag. The side zipper pockets are perfect stach spots for beauty products and meds. The inside pocket opens wide. The inside zipper I used for my wallet and inside pockets for my passport. The main section is big enough for a tablet, phone, and large waters. The bag is still perfect for a personal item on a plane but can fold small enough to shove into a different travel bag if needed. All 4 have been water resistant too, not proof but good enough for travel.

This is well made and looks great. It is inexpensive given the overall quality of fabric and manufacture. The main compartment against your back does exactly what it should. I took this on a recent trip and used it as my carry-on under the seat. I checked my larger bag, and this held everything I could use on a plane ride: iPad, scarf, ear buds, chargers, a book, a water bottle, phone, eyeshades, etc.

Note: do be careful WHAT you put WHERE. This is well-made, but you can damage it by poor placement of sharp things! After the 1st plane ride, I found a small rip to the lining at the base of one of the two front zippered pockets, where I had stored some chargers with sharp plug ends. That rip was not the fault of the manufacturer, it was mine for jamming in a bunch of sharp things to a small pocket! On my flight back, I swapped where I put things, taking out all sharp items from the front side pockets. If I had an upgrade to suggest, I'd use a more durable rip-stop kind of lining to those front hidden pockets, maybe with reinforcements to where it fastens at the base of the pocket -- it is tempting to jam in a lot of stuff.

Very happy with this minimalist and practical bag.

This bag is very cute, I get a lot of compliments on it. The brown bag has a water resistant like material on the outside that makes it easy to clean, it actually fits a bit more than I expected, I put two 5×7in notebooks, a pencil case, and my nintendo switch holder. It fits well! Granted the side pockets are a little tight for a water bottle (16oz flask) but you could fit it on the inside if you need to. Otherwise, I love this bag and would recommend it to anyone.

I never have the time or make the time for reviews but this bag is deserving of one! I was not expecting the quality at this price! It's adorable, soft pleather with zippers in all the right places. Such a gd product!!
