This flatbed looks as vintage as my 1950 221, but it is acrylic, sturdy, adjustable, and even came with a special cleaning spray and cloth. There's also a hole so the machine bed can be lifted to change bobbins without moving the extension. Anyone who sews, especially a Featherweight owner, will wonder how they ever got along without it. I sew a LOT, and this is one of the best investments I have ever made for my craft. Bravo, Sew Steady!

Loved the table. It makes my featherweight look even smaller but the sewing area is amazing! The 5 legs for the table is adjustable and makes it all easier. Loved the small hole that allows you to lift the bed of the machine in order to replace the bobbin.
