These made a difference over night, not only did they relieve my foot pain almost immediately, but they made it to where I could move a lot faster at work pain free. The only down side was that they only lasted about a week, and I had to reorder another pair. Maybe if you weigh less than 200 lbs they may last longer, for me it's only about a week, but the relief they provide is worth it if you can afford twenty bucks a week.
I must have gotten the wrong arch.

Take the time to make sure you get the wrong arch. Construction seems good. I didn't have to trim for my size 10 steel toe work boots.

I am not exactly sure what I was expecting, but the inserts feel good but not amazing. I guess I was hoping for amazing. They are a little firm, but again they don't feel bad. I would probably buy them again. Might need to wait a few weeks to see how my feet react to them.
These inserts actually work to relieve pain but don't expect soft and comfortable

I was having plantar fasciitis pain in my left heel for over 3 months and was about to try the uncomfortable looking tight sock at night but then happened to notice they sell these shoe inserts for the problem.
So I ordered these and replaced the original shoe insole with these inserts, and although not a terrific walking experience because of the way they're built, they really and truly helped to relieve the plantar pain. Not only did they relieve the walking pain but they helped relieve the cause of the pain, so walking around barefoot in my house is much more comfortable as well.
I highly recommend these to anyone with the same plantar pain I had. Just expect that there will be an adjustment period and they will never be as comfy as walking with the original shoe insoles. I felt pretty much immediate relief and my symptoms were nearly gone after a week of walking with these in my shoes.
But I would absolutely purchase these again in a heartbeat not only because of the pain relief, but most especially because the thought of the tight sock on my foot at night does not make me happy at all.
