One of very few pumps that is easily configured for inline/stand-alone use. You will need to add some Teflon pipe thread tape and/or a bead of silicone sealant to the fittings to prevent all leakage. But for the money you get a lot of pump and fittings.

Works as advertised.
Came with a few inlet/outlets for inline as advertised which I like. One of the outlets has an air venturi port if you desire to aerate as well. It seems to move enough water to push a 5 gallon canister without much difficulty though I would probably upgrade to the next size for that purpose. No matter I have a sponge filter to supplement.
The only issue I had was finding hose to fit the fittings... I wish it came with some adapters or another size. Finding fittings in normal plumbing areas has been a challenge but this is not something that I can ding the pump for necessarily I just wish it told the sizes and qty of the outlets that are included.
Overall very pleased. Good utility pump. Longevity yet to be seen.
