Had never used a mini-torch like this before so wasn't sure what to expect. Seemed like there was a pretty wide range in prices for similar "appearing" different models. Decided to go on the lower end with this unit and was pleasantly surprised. Does most of it feel like it's metal colored plastic, sure, but seems solid enough. It was beyond simple to use, add butane, wait a couple of seconds, move the cat, push the button, and it worked. Not sure what much more higher end models would give you, and have nothing to compare it to, but just seems like one of those products where there's a much wider spread in price than there is with functionality in regards to the top of the line and entry level options. Seemed to hold a good amount of butane, worked at every angle, flame appeared adequate, not sure what else you would need. Seems like a good value.
