WILL purchase another one of these if/when needed -- First, I would like to recommend using a draining hose (WITH PLUMBING TAPE / TEFLON TAPE) to make sure it's able to do it's job without interruption. The "bin" fills up in about 3-4 hours on humid days. My dehumidifier is going on 4 summers now and still going strong. The noise is similar to a (louder) white noise machine but I'm able to sleep through. The screen does need to be cleaned occasionally but there's a a blinking light to alert you if/when needed.

Saw reviews outside Amazon for this unit which got very good reviews. My home is damp so I decided to purchase. Not sure if I should be alarmed or impressed as this unit fills up every day. Have the 3000 SF unit for a 1500 SF home. Probably need one upstairs. These are heavy and do not save on electricity. My bill was $35 more using this non stop so beware of increased electric bill 😕

Easy to use and where the job done. We used to have a mildewy smell coming from our basement whenever it rained or was humid- even though there was no water damage/leaks/flooding within the house.
