Don’t over-stretch them.

Bike rack straps... Don't over-stretch them. They will break. When securing bikes to a rack, it helps to have a bungee cord to hold handlebars/front wheel in place. This reduces bounce, and puts less strain on the straps.

I'm glad I paid a little more for these. I know there are cheaper ones available, but these seem very robust, like the originals. I have had them on for about a month, so time will tell how well they hold up to stretch and sun. Very good straps.

I bought a Buyers bike rack years ago, and recently had an issue with a couple of straps cracking. That manufacturer seems to have discontinued their bike rack, and straps with square notches seem to be rare. I bought a set of these based on approximate shape and dimensions, and they fit perfectly.
They seem to be sturdy and flexible like the ones I'm replacing, so I'm perfectly pleased.

Replaced Ski-Doo Linq strap

I could not for the life of me find an OEM replacement to this dry rotted Ski-Doo strap. As you can see in the picture the straps match up quite well with the exception of the mounting hole. I simply trimmed down the original strap and used it as a shim. Back in business!
