After killing the side-terminal battery in my Corvette by leaving the car in winter storage (no power in the storage unit so I couldn't use a Battery Tender), I decided to try one of these simple knife switches. It was eas to install and easy to use. Now I just pop the hood and open the switch when I'm going to leave the car for more than a month. Problem solved.
