Love this little TV. wife & I bought it to use in our cellar during tornado season (Oklahoma). Also use it when we loose power--last 4 years our first winter storm has hit in November and they have been nothing but horendus ice storms. Last one (2 Nov 20) some lines had 3 inches of ice on some power lines (about the TV--menus are easy to use and sound is good and volume level will drive you out of the room or you go deaf it will go so loud). Comes with 3 different antennas, we bought an RCA rabbit ear setup because the cellar is 6" concrete. You can use the FM feature and pickup radio stations. There are also inputs where you can watch pictures/video on it (from an iPhone or computer). I looked it up and found the battery should last 80 to 90 minutes. For power outages we bought a Best Tech (500 watt) inverter on Amazon of course, was 39 bucks. We go out in the garage and hook it to one of the batteries in the cars (won't run them down, the little Tyler TV only pulls about 12 to 18 watts. It was 73 dollars and some change, beats the Digital Prism we replaced by a mile, Amazon wants almost 300.00 for the Digital Prism TV. Plus the Tyler picks up the channels we need to watch during sever weather (tornados). Hope this gives some insight if your thinking about getting a small TV.

I do not use the battery or remote control as this TV, located in a bathroom, is a "slave" connection to a cable-operated TV located elsewhere. The size is perfect but color is not good ~ faded out and not at all sharp. Have searched for small flat-screen TV for years and this does fit my parameters but I will keep looking.

A powered antenna makes all the difference in the world. Much more accessible channels, and much more stable picture. I also hooked up a Fire Stick to the HDMI input and now I can get netflix on my little Tyler portable tv. The remote is incredibly light. Sometimes I wonder if I'm going to break the buttons. What I love the most is the FM antenna with sleep timer. I use this feature almost every single night to help me fall asleep with the radio automatically shutting off. And to reiterate, you will definitely want to get a powered antenna and/or fire stick/Roku.

I got this for my office - LOVE IT! love the options and its easy to use and the remote is great. The price was decent and the screen is bigger than I expected. Id buy this again.

This portable TV gets 96 channels in Tampa bay area with the included antenna. I get channels that cable no longer has. It runs off the car cigarette lighter power or 120 volt. I can connect it to my solar powered batteries for off grid.
