**Update**: the "Total Bedding Solutions" company refunded me for my purchase, so I gotta say, I am pretty impressed by that!

So I can't really recommend the mattress pad, but I had a really good experience with the SELLER (see my update above).
I ended up buying a (much) thicker mattress pad, which I like much better. Possibly this thin one is good for certain mattress types.
