This is my go-to birthday or congratulatory present that I send to family and friends. I have even ordered it for myself a couple times just because I really like the product because it's always fresh, there's a great variety, you can taste that it's a quality chocolate, and I like everything that's in the box. It always arrived to me with everything in the box unbroken and nicely wrapped in individual plastic wrappers. Also it is presented very well in a nice gold tin box, so it makes a nice gift too. And the one time I had a question about a product, the response from customer service was quick and excellent.

I love that you are a mother/daughter team. The chocolate was a little melty. The outside if package was very soggy but it did not effect the quality of the product. I am very happy with the purchase. The taste is fabulous!!!!

One of my mother's friends is 100 years old and has a major sweet tooth. She absolutely loved these the three times I have sent them to her as a gift from my mother. She absolutely loves how these are packaged and the 'fancy out of state mail' is a nice thing too.

Well the last one had a problem where something went wrong with the post office delivering it. So when I saw that, I contacted the company and they were beyond helpful and sent a replacement right away. Jean got her chocolates and was so happy she even let her son have one (only one though).

I was actually planning to buy myself some chocolate and buy myself some tin storage containers. Turns out storage containers are weirdly expensive. So I bought this - chocoalte and a storage tin! I was unsure about the chocolate because I've never had this brand.

1- the chocolate is good. It is not fabulous. I like it, and I am enjoying it, but it's not mind blowing. But it's worth what I paid, so I'm happy.
2- the individual packaging is good and bad. I'm a single woman, so the individual packaging is nice because it'll last for quite a while. If I lived with other people I'd share the chocolate with, the plastic would be wasteful. I don't, so I appreciate the options it gives me. Also, it makes number 3 easier ;-)
3- storage tins are expensive. This tin is very pretty and came with chocolate! I was able to easily put the individually wrapped packages in a bowl and start using the tin. It looks pretty on my shelf. I plan to buy more chocolates specifically so I can get a very sturdy, easily to re-use tin.

I highly recommend this for folks who aren't serious chocolate snobs. It doesn't taste like gertrude hawk, but I'd put it in the gertrude hawk level of tasty. It's not fancy imported from switzerland chocolate, but again, I don't think anyone buying this expects it to be. It is better than a mr goodbar. The one disappointment was that I love toffee and this toffee was fine, just ... fine. That was disappointing.
