My Dad is 90 and had been in a protracted death match with Dish TV for decades, we begin here.
90 bucks a month and very unreliable service at best. Then the constant service appointment windows where you wait for 4 hours and the tech never shows or calls.
So I put this antenna on the back deck of his place which is anything bit line of sight to any Pittsburgh channels just to see if it would work at all. It's great, I never moved it. Tons of broadcast digital video channels and every local station which is somehow an add on with satellite schemes.
He's really happy and I'm even happier to not wait for service people that are thrown to the wolves by satellite providers and couldn't be in a worse job.

The reception is really good, but I had to replace the unit after a heavy rain storm. Water got inside and it stopped working. Unfortunately, it was just past warranty. I thought it was good enough for a second chance so I bought another one. I just hope I don't get sideways rain anytime soon.

When reading the assembly instruction, Antop says the preferred assembly is in the Horizontal direction, with a photo showing direction in their manual provided with the antenna. So, I performed a 360 rotation of the assembly of 5 degrees each. At one location I receive 39 stations but most with pixilation.
I began to wonder what Anton meant by horizontal. So I rotated the antenna perpendicular to the horizontal with the pointed appendage parallel and the circular portion perpendicular to the horizontal as in photo I provided.
I rescanned and received 31 channels perfectly. Fox gets pixilation once in a while briefly. But I'm located on a mountain slightly in a dip. This channel is probably reflections. I could probably spend more time with 3 degree rotation to fine tune but this is excellent. Also, I lowered the antenna by 10 feet so this may be the issue. But I had to do this so I could do this antenna installation alone.
Antop Antenna works great. I'd say excellent. Also, I switched to the Green light not the yellow light!
