TL;DR - This is bright, will keep you dry, holds up to moderate abuse without issue.

The pros -
- It's bright, though no reflectors. Very good for biking in NYC, if someone hits you it's because they're probably got blinded by the neon yellowish green.
- It keeps you ultra dry.
- It's got a thick enough material to keep from ripping.
- The pockets are huge and keep your stuff dry due to well sewn top flaps.
- The hood can get rolled up into the neck leaving you to be able to wear a hat without the ol flippity flap of getting beaten up by an unused hood.
- Fits over clothes and the waistband works very well.

The cons
- You'll be dry from rain, though the fabric doesn't breathe at all, so be prepared. (This is good/bad) The shoulder/back flap does vent though if you're wearing a backpack prepare to sauna a bit.
- Slight PVC/plastic smell.
- There's nothing fashion conscious about this puppy, it's straight up utilitarian.
- The pant bottoms could use a zipper so you don't have to take your footwear off putting the pants on/off especially with boots.
- Hood is more like a suggestion of a hood. You can use the strings/button if you want to look like grandma keeping her hair dry with those plastic hoods though! #babushkasimulatior

Honestly I'm very very happy with this purchase, it is a great value.

I found this rain suit to be quality made as far as materials and craftmanship. The jacket fits beautifully but the pants..... there's no way these are the same size as the jacket. I bought the XL, and the pants are tight on my husband, who wears a medium. If this sizing issue is addressed, this will be about the most perfect rain suit I have ever owned.

The weather was a normal warm summer morning when I left for work on my bicycle commute. The forecast was clear. Just before it was time to ride my bike home from work, we got a sudden Midwestern thunderstorm. It poured my entire ride (40 minutes) home, but I never got a drop of rain on my clothes. I pulled the hood up and then put my bicycle helmet on over it. It kept my head dry and kept water from running down the back of my neck. The pants are long enough that I can pull them up high to prevent any exposure of my lower back. As it was a warm day, I did get pretty sweaty in the suit but it was better than being hit by the rain which was being driven by 20+ mph winds!

I liked the raincoat due to it's very visible color and protection from the elements however, it is a little bit big for the size when it says true to size. When I used it, the length of the pant was protruding and literally dragging it and stepping on it, didn't took long to get damaged. Then I have to cut the length of the pant short. If it was true to size then maybe that will not happen.

It's not 100% waterproof. In cold weather, I wear a jacket underneath and it's damp when I take off the raincoat.
