I rarely write reviews but this one I am glad to write. I had purchased the unit to have an additional power bank to charge pads, phones, and run a Raspi. The fact it came with a Solar panel, camping lights, and had a built in bluetooth speaker/radio/mp3 player were pluses as far as I was concerned.
I Initially had used the unit almost a month when one morning I turned it on and smoke poured from the radio section and the whole unit went dead. I thought, great, out my money and from other reviews I had read I expected the worse. Boy was I surprised. They were responsive and apologetic about what had happened and immediately said they would remedy the situation. The sent me out a new unit which arrived within 3 days of my first contact with them. Needless to say I am happy with the outcome and will have no problem recommending them to family and friends in the future.

Overall this is a good unit for $50.
Pros :
- Main unit is compact and light.
- Solar panel is large and seems to be a good quality one.
- Ability to charge my phone, Ipod and Ipad.
- Lights (3) are super bright and each has an individual on/off switch.
- The 5 rechargeable batteries (18650) are removable (replaceable and can be recharged in a separate charger).
- Low budget unit.
- Batteries came 90% charged.
- Bright flashlight with 3 modes ( High/ Low/ Strobe )
Cons :
- The instructions booklet is close to useless.
- The charge indicator never turns green, stays red and stop blinking when charge is over (supposedly).
- I wasn't able to use the mp3 reader with my Ipod.
- Quality of the radio and remote control are average.
If you don't intend to spend several hundreds $, this is a great device for camping and hurricane preparedness.

I was nervous because previous reviews mentioned it being hard to use. I could see that. It did take a little bit of fiddling with the radio buttons to figure that out. To get to a radio station you basically have to let it preload the stations sort of like when you had to add channels to the TV when we had cable. Then you will be able to sort through them. You have to hold down one of the buttons to get the volume to work. But that is just in regards to the radio. The battery works great we had the radio on all day outside in it didn't go down at all. It came fully charged. Haven't had to use the solar just yet but hopefully that works fine. And the lights are surprisingly bright. Again, you're not going to be able to charge your laptop or plug in a lamp but you are going to be able to charge your phone or anything with a USB and have three lights in case of emergency. I like it and recommended it to my mom as well

We had purchased this for camping so we could charge our phones for if anyone needed to reach us. It also came in very handy when we lost power due to bad storms. We were able to keep our phones charged up. This is cute and compact and does a wonderful job. Would definitely recommend the purchase.
