Nice, solid, quality kitchen scissors. I love the mechanism that keeps the two halves together - it come apart easily but not so much so that it happens when you don't want it to (my last pair did that and it was annoying.) They're a nice size and on the heavier side so good and solid. Comfortable to hold. My roommate used them for the first time and commented, "oh wow I really like these new scissors."
I haven't tried the peeler feature - I didn't buy it for that and don't really foresee using it at all. I wanted a pair that came apart for cleaning and had the recessed area on the blade for cutting larger items. These scissors had what I wanted and more and the price is good.
Also, the seller contacted me twice. Right after I ordered, to let me know there had recently been problems with their item numbers resulting in people receiving the wrong item, that they were working to resolve it, and instructions on what to do if that happened. (I got the correct item.) Then they contacted me after it arrived with a general thank you note. So seller seems responsive and attentive should there be any issues down the road.
Highly recommend.
