The resistance changer is too big to fit the handle bars and poor lamp assembly. Didn't get it to fit. The bolt assembly is difficult to tighten. Still haven't gotten it on the bars. Resistance setting doesn't seem to matter what number have it on makes only a slight difference. It was difficult to put the magnetic roller against the tire. . First, I had it too loose., then too tight. Turned the bike upside down to get it to touch the back wheel. The black hub things don't fit the bolts on the bike. And made it difficult to get the wheel in between the clamps. Not easy to adjust. The noise is not too

The only thing I really disliked is the noise it makes.... I researched many others (including fluid/mag rollers), but you just can't get away from the loud noise, no matter what.... We got this one at a really good price and it performs in the same range. More expensive is NOT necessarily better.... We did have to buy a longer bolt for our bike, but that was minimal.

Bought this to give my bike a workout. The stand is pretty heavy to lift/shift around, but it holds the bike firmly. Not sure what to do with the corded adjustor: it doesn't seem to work. But just using my own bike gears does affect the ease/difficulty of pedaling.
Make sure you align the back tire well. If you don't screw the braces for the tire to center the tire on the treadmill wheel, the frame can shave rubber from the tire.
