I had nasal surgery and can't use my bipap machine for 2 weeks. Having central sleep apnea, it can be dangerous because I stop breathing at times. The pulse oximeter warns me if my oxygen level gets low. The beeping can be muted and returns as a warning. I think of this as a life saver.
Works great. Good to have for anyone using a CPAP or wondering if they really need a CPAP..

I discovered my CPAP doesn't work well when placed on the floor by my bed. My oxygen level was dropping too low even though I was using the CPAP. I placed my CPAP higher on a night stand and now my readings are very good. The PC software is for Windows and not documented well, but I eventually figured it out. The profusion index was new to me. It can vary from person to person and from finger to finger on the same person. Use the fingers with the highest profusion index for connecting the sensor.

This device needs a serious upgrade with its alarm feature, they need work with the people who make the Screaming Meanie TZ-120
This is very useful except that the alarm is 1/4 as loud as an alarm clock.
It needs to be able to wake the dead, so the dont end up dead.
As it is this device would not wake most people, it beeps like like a tiny bird.
