These come with 3/8" FIP outlets on the side of the tank, while the tank I replaced had 1/2" FIP fittings. No problem, I thought, that's what Home Depot/Lowe's is for! WRONG!!!!!!
Went to 4 damned stores, not one of them had a 3/8"MIP to 1/2" barb fitting at all, nor do they have a 3/8" MIP to 1/2" FIP adapter. Ended up having to search Amazon and order new fittings, now waiting for them to come in before I can reassemble the RV.
Just a precaution to those of you who are either building a new tank setup or replacing a fresh water tank, check your fittings first, or buy new fittings that are 3/8" MIP fittings at the same time you purchase this tank.
Other than that, the tank is built as well as the old tank I removed, and a good wash out got rid of all the plastic shavings inside. Water will most likely smell funky for a few tanks, I'll be throwing some bleach into my system and running the water out to get rid of some of that funk!
