I like not carrying a bunch of butane fuel. This thing will light burners, candles, or even a piece of paper. Don't know how long the battery will last but it recharges easily.

This is a nice little replacement for the cheap a** gas clickers. You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones that have the colored plastic handle, a little window showing how much gas you don't have left, with the annoying thumb safety that only last for 5-6 lights? Yeah, those. So I bought this super excited to maybe get a "clicker" that wouldn't die the second time I needed it. It's nicely built & comes with a USB cable to recharge the unit. When you push the ignite button, it creates a fine, little blue silent spark (arc?) across the two ends of the tip. I use it for a gas stove on which the auto spark electronics have died. After going through half dozen "clickers" in as many months, when I stumbled upon this unit, I jumped on it. It's built nice, has a power switch and 5 light power indicator. Using it though, I'm a tad underwhelmed. The end is flexible, which I initially thought was a good thing, but when sticking it under a pan without looking, it's flexible enough that it bends and contorts out of the way of things it touches. And since the arc is small and isolated to the electrodes, if you don't put it exactly into the gas stream, it won't ignite it, as opposed to an inch long flame that rises to intersect the gas. So, nice, but not a perfect direct replacement.

The media could not be loaded. I am obsessed with candles and for the past year have been using matches to light them and would buy BIC Butane lighters from the dollar store but definitely were not worth it so I decided to invest in this. I have no issues with it and I am satisfied with the fire safety as you do need to press pretty hard on in order to turn on. There was also a cap which covers the top where it turns on. As you can see I'm the video the packaging of the product came slightly damaged as if it were opened before and when I first turned it on the battery life was at 2 dots. The charger was not included and you can also see a slot where it is supposed to be. Overall I am satisfied with the product but I do not have a charger to use it. I have apple products so the cable is different than what is required for this but I was able to borrow a friends charger who had a similar thing connection as you can see in the picture. You cannot turn the lighter on if it is connected and charging which is great as my siblings have a bad habit of using electronics even if it is connected. My sister is personally in love with it so she has decided to buy her own which is expected to come later this week, but I am deciding to get a refund as I feel like it would be easier for me. If it came with the charger I definitely would've Kept it as it does it's job. I have not had it for long so I am not sure if it's life expectancy.

My girlfriend loves candles, and I hate the typical lighters, so I wanted to look for something that was safe, easy to use, and durable. This lighter met all the criteria and more. It is USB chargeable, but I've only had to charge it once in the 2 years I've been lighting candles for my girlfriend. It's so easy to use, and there's next to 0 risk of burning yourself unless you actively are trying to touch the tip of the lighter. The lighter head is flexible, so you can get into all sorts of spaces without having to physically bring your hand near it. THIS PRODUCT IS A MUST-GET FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS A SAFER, DURABLE LIGHTER.
