I guess I missed the part about "soft sided." Ok though. Will be good for cupboard storage, to keep out critters. Lids seem to fit tight and you can see what you put in them, without having to open.

I actually only needed the large Gallon size paint can. I made gnomes for some of my friends and due to having multiple cats, I wanted the gnome to be protected from the cats destroying it so the gallon size paint can was exactly the right fit. The gnome can be seen clearly through the can and it is safe from the cats. The item arrived safely and quickly with no damage.

I bought these to decorate and use for a container for a Christmas gift. They are cute and worked well. However, I did have to be careful on the amount of weight I put in them as they are decorative and not "functional". Keep your expectations to what they are meant for - decorative purposes - and they'll be awesome! If you choose to put something more weighty in them, you will have to pick them up by the bottom, nit the handle, or they will come apart.
