I bought this for cosplay reasons and it was all what I expected and much more. Looked at many designs and just loved this one, looks real for a mermaid. Bought size M cause i usually buy pants size 8-10 and fitted great. Material stretches and fits your figure like a glove (like lycra) . Its soft, feels great and its comfy, great quality for me. At night it has an sparkling beautiful effect. which is a bonus Its hard to walk with it but anyway its not made for walking :-) Seller sent a beautiful thank you note, I think thats special. 100% recommended and will buy again if needed.

I love the colors, they are bright and vibrant. The material is a loose stretchy bathing suit material. I do wish it was a bit more elastic so it would fit a bit tighter as it slides down at the waist a little when I swim. I would also suggest a tall version for your tall slender customers so we can get a tail long enough but that fits snug and secure around the hips and waist. The Monofin is of nice quality having a firm hard plastic fin plate that is flexible enough for good movement for swimming. Very nice power and control if you know what you're doing. The fin plate has a nice padded neoprene sleeve that then has your foot pockets. The holes are tight and hold pretty secure while swimming with only minor adjustments needed occasionally for ankle slippage. I do find the feeling of my feet sitting directly on top of the plastic fin plate a bit odd but I started to get used to it. It does allow for your feet to slip side to side in there and honestly I'm not a professional mermaid so I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I think it's a bad thing as I feel like I'd have more control for turning and rolling and such if my feet had traction on something like another neoprene layer perhaps. I know I would not want mesh like I've seen in others as that would be like sand paper on your feet with every kick. The scale pattern is nice with glitter accents that are sparkly and create a shinny affect in the sun that gives it a more realistic look. I do wish the scale pattern lined up together better on the hip seems. The pattern is printed well with no noticeable flaws or missing color. The tail tip protectors are great and the transition from fabric to rubberized tip is smooth, the edges are rounded and smooth as well which makes them invisible in photographs yet protects your tail from damage from rocks and other rough surfaces.

One thing I don't like is that they have printed their logo Fin Fun on one side of each of the rubberized tail fin areas. It isn't noticable from a far but up close when I wash my tail I see it. I know others may not care but I personally really dislike brand names plastered on my items or garments. I think it takes away from overall aesthetics of the tail and diminishes the realism. Great fabric mermaid tail for the price. I researched a bit first and this brand had pretty good reviews for being in the $100 range. So a solid 4.5 stars

I bought this for my daughter, and is 5'3" and 140lbs. She wears a size 11 shoe (she is 10 and has never stopped growing). I ordered the large the actual fin man is it hard to get her feet in there and its really tight on her low legs and loose on her waist. She loves it though.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this tail last year to upgrade my swimming sessions and bikini pictures because I dreamed of doing it as a little girl. This video is me swimming with it this summer! It was so fun to swim in, but it's a bit difficult at first, so please make sure you're a strong swimmer! Personally, it was easier for me as I trained myself to swim in that position for many years. Sometimes, I get a bit of pilling on the tail because of the exposure to rough concrete and pool surfaces, but no holes, which is surprisingly decent quality. Otherwise, it's my new favorite way to swim underwater and encourage myself to exercise!
