Lawn Edger for Landscaping - Manual Edgers, Edging Shovel for Precise Clean Borders, Manual Edger Lawn Tool, Long Handle Garden Edgers for Landscaping, Flower Beds & Pathways - KWIK EDGE Tool

Key features
- •✅ [GET THE MOST FROM YOUR KWIK EDGE]: The Kwik Edge tool is designed to maintain the flower bed border by keeping grass from creeping in, NOT to create the edge. The curved back directs the soil back into the flower bed.
- •✅ [MAINTENANCE TOOL]: Designed to keep grass from encroaching into the flower bed. The vertical and horizontal blade cuts invading grassroots. Cultivates and grooms the soil into the bed; does not cut overhanging grass blades.
- •✅ [EASE OF USE]: In one smooth motion the KWIK EDGE turns yard work into gardening and leaves flower beds looking like they have been professionally manicured. Repeated use of the Kwik Edge tool conditions the soil as it turns, and mixes added amendments making every use easier than the last.
- •✅ [100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE]: Buy with confidence knowing that if you are not 100% satisfied, we will refund your money.
- •✅ [HOW TO USE]: Use a half-moon and/or conventional shovel to remove sod to the desired size and shape of the bed (the Kwik Edge tool is not recommended for creating the edge). Use the Kwik Edge tool to clean and cultivate the border. Most effective when soil is slightly dry, so roots and soil do not hang up on the blade. In heavy clay soil add sand and other amendments to loosen the soil. This will help the Kwik Edge to easily follow the grass edge and cultivate good soil with each use becoming

Takes a little practice but once you get used to using it it is a great tool and a real time saver.
A Nifty Tool

I've used this enough now to say that it is a pretty good tool. Probably saves 50% on time I would usually spend on edging a flower bed. However, as other have noted, it still requires effort and it is more for giving an already edged (done in the last year or two) bed a fresh edge. It will be in regular use.
A Tool With Potential!

In searching for a tool to help keep existing edging looking neat, I found this Kwik Edge tool. After reading a number of reviews I felt the tool had potential. But I was also prepared to do some custom upgrading in order to make the device work even better, thanks to one gentleman's review and photos that showed how he had sharpened the edges to give the device better cutting ability. I used the tool both before the sharpening and of course afterwards: major improvement with the sharpened cutting edges. Were the designers/manufacturers of this Kwik Edge tool to make it with sharper edgers, I think customers might be more satisfied from the first use. I very much like how the tool works following my upgrade, but be aware, it still takes strength and pressure to make that cut in the ground/grass.
Good tool.

I was very excited to find this tool (saw a video online). Now after trying it I can honestly say, that it is useful, but not quite as great as I hoped it to be.
First of all, there is absolutely no way that it can create new edging. No way. It is a bit awkward to get used to and requires to bend down and stay that way while working (not the easiest of positions to work in). It seems to me that it would be more efficient if there was a sharpened point where the edger is bent; this would allow to minimize necessary force to use it.
On the plus side I think it will be very useful to maintain existing edging during summer season. Right now I will use conventional methods to recreate the edges which are all but washed away by winter precipitation. But in summer I will be able to refresh all edging with this tool in just an hour or so. Just take it out once a month and quickly drag around all flower beds. That way it will make maintenance very easy.
To sum it all up. No regrets buying it, am sure I will use it, but do not expect a miracle. Seems solid and I think will last a long time. I will update this review after a couple of months, who knows, I might fall in love with this thing.....

Needs a couple upgrades

The tool is exceptional in concept and is usable in execution. However, the angle of the handle is too extreme; it needs to be more upright, and while is says the handle is "long", it needs to be a foot longer, and to a lesser concern, it would be nice to have a bigger diameter handle since I imagine most people work with this in gardening gloves. The kick out on the back side of the tool needs to be longer and angled so that it can clean out the edge. I find myself scooping out the edge after every couple feet. It just does not push the debris far enough up into the bed. I understand that the focus of the tool is to keep the cut edge clean, and not so concerned about the debris being trimmed. With that said, it could do both if the sweep was longer and wasn't a vertical edge, but rather an angle towards the bed. However, my greatest wish was that the tool just had more heft. It is too light weight. I wish there was on about 2 inches taller in the front cutting edge, and about triple the weight so that I would be more like dragging a plow versus the work I have to put in to cut the edge and that is even after forming the edge with a shovel. They have a great idea and tool, but it could be a game changer. I just wanted to put this out there before I start modifying the one I have in hopes that maybe there is an XL version of this coming out.
