This dress is very pretty... on the right person. I bought this dress to attend a wedding, and while I did like the dress, I wish I would have had time to find something more fitting for my body type.

SIZING
For reference, I am 5'1" and weigh 145lbs and have a 34DDD(F) or in some cases a 34G chest. I wasn't sure if a Large or X-large would fit best, but according to the size chart, and after measuring my chest (40 inches around) I went with the X-large, even though my frame is relatively small, I wanted the chest to fit the best.

CHEST
The XL was very comfortable in the chest, is on the stretchy side and there was even enough room for me to wear a strapless and lightly padded bra that I wore with clear bra straps (you definitely want clear straps with this dress if you wear a bra). The XL did fit me well in chest area, but if I lose any weight (even 5-10lbs) in the future, this dress will probably be too big for me. I honestly wonder if the large size would have suited me better in the long run. The top is not see-through at all, I wore a black bra with it and you couldn't see it through the material.

WAIST
I was hoping that this dress would be smaller in the waist area, and offer more of a hourglass type of fit like it appears in the photos. I am not curvy whatsoever and have a small frame (besides my chest) and I felt like this dress just made my stomach/hips look big because it didn't hug my small frame at all. I looked like a 5 foot tall rectangle. Also, the waist band is way too high. The waist band sat about 3 inches below my boobs.. which is definitely not my waist. The waist band was actually the first thing my boyfriend pointed out to me when I tried the dress on. He doesn't know anything about dresses but he knew the waist band didn't look right.

LENGTH
Being only 5'1", I was very worried about the back part of the dress touching/dragging on the floor like others have said. However, my dress JUST touched the floor and didn't drag while barefoot. I wore heels at the wedding so the length was perfect for me.

OTHER
The lace is very soft and kind of stretchy. The bottom slip is also very silky feeling. The dress did have a factory like smell to it when I took it out of the package. The smell wasn't pleasant so I aired it out for a couple days, but at least it was obvious it was new so it wasn't a big deal. The dark red color was slightly brighter than I assumed it would be, but still worked for the purpose. I have to admit, I have pretty flexible arms, but there is no way I could zip up the back of this dress myself! Make sure you have someone who can zip up the back for you, unless you're a contortionist. This dress was also very airy and cool for a hot July wedding, definitely a appreciated feature.

I would recommend this dress to anyone who doesn't have the struggle of having very large breasts and a small frame. If your dimensions match mine, then most likely whatever size you get; the chest will fit you but the rest will be too big, or the chest will be way too small but it will fit your frame. If you have a D cup or smaller than I would think this dress would look great on you.

Nice for party

I bought this dress for a formal night on a cruise. It fit perfectly and was very flattering. I got a lot of comments on how nice it look. It was also very inexpensive, which is always a bonus!

I'm 5'3", 193lbs, 42 C and have broad shoulders. I ordered a large. The dress went all the way to the floor in the back, but with a 1 and 1/2 inch heel, that was fixed. My only issue was that the front cup area (under lace) was slightly irregular. No one seemed to notice, but it bothered me. If have broad shoulders, you may need someone to help you zip it up and unzip it. Also, don't order it if your stomach pokes out. Zipping will be too challenging because it gets tight in the abdomen area. My stomach is very flat and my weight comes in from my hips. So, A-line dresses work for me. Other than that, I'd recommend buying it. I got lots of compliments.

It came in a clear bag but that's ok. It is extremely soft!!! I am a larger 4ft 189lb woman. I ordered the XXL and it fits well. I was extremely shocked to find a zipper even though I got into it like everyone else. From the bottom😅. It fit well to my form but was a little baggy. That's ok because it ruffles under the top so it hides it.
