Don't buy anything else but the OhmKat transformer and chime for Nest wired Hello!!!

I'm still trying to keep the dream alive by continuing to use the original Nest equipment I have. Don't really trust those weird transformers that still provide power even though the circuit protection is toast because you accidentally touched the wires together one to many times.
Forget about it! The OhmKat transformer actually tests it's OP functionality by having you intentionally touch the live ends together! That's how well the transformers are designed.
The transformer, transmitter, and chime all chain together to power my Hello and also with next to zero configuration - make pretty sounds when the Hello has been rang.

This is absolutely necessary as it provides an indoor audio bell if you don't have one. Get the poster supply replacement from the same company for an easy installation. I have no clue why Nest doesn't sell or include these things. This third party add on is a great upgrade. I had already installed a power supply, so I just clipped the wires and tied in the new one with a little solder and electrical tape.
The RF receiver works perfectly and reliably and the whole system is a very cleaver solution to the shortcomings of Nest. Now you don't have to have your phone around, and unmuted, not do you have to have Google home etc. Furthermore, this bell will always be instantaneous without any delay, and it will work without internet. It would be cool if you could adjust tone or volume.
