This is absolutely NOT 1:12 scale. In 1:12 scale, the platter would be 2 1/2 FEET WIDE! And the tea pot, 20" tall.
Maybe you could use this at 1:6 scale.

I loved this set. I bought it for my 4 year old great niece s Doll house. She loved it. She put it on her little kitchen table. I told her that the dish was a tray for the coffee set. She told me it was for a birthday cake. When I was leaving, she came and hugged me and said it was perfect. A good gift. It's perfect for an Xmas stocking gift too. It was packed very well to avoid breakage.
