The lamp is good quality and costs two or three times less than a comparable product; it is easy to assemble. It arrived earlier than expected and in good shape. On arrival, the protection foam inside the package was damaged, however my lamp was intact. My lamp is put on a carpeted floor, a shim or two in the bottom are needed to balance the lamp in a desired angle. The shim may not be needed on a flat hardwood floor, but I am not sure. I am still happy with product after about 3 months.

very nice lamp. balanced well. very chromy. taller than a lot of hanging arc lamps. my only gripe is I wish they had used less tacky stickers on the outside of the lamp hood. I don't know what product to use to get the sticker residue off without ruining the perfect chrome finish.
