It's kind of a dull light brown loosely woven cotton with gold bedazzled jewels covering it. Did not at all fit the vibe of the outfit at all, but I was stuck with nothing else so I faked it. Left it at the hosts house and when she called to let me know I had her toss it in donate pile.

The sparkles on this are perfect although material is thin. The scarf comes with some pretty deep creases out of the package and I tried to steam with an iron and caused some damage. Hand steamer would have been better. Otherwise, worth the money and I got lots of compliments.
