Safe and Sound

This is a fantastic bike tow behind. I can say without a doubt its well built after having it tip over and my little one be safe and sound in it. Great job on making a safe product.
First Kid trailer review

So obviously I do not have another trailer to compare it too but for what it is, I would say it's okay.
So what do I not like: The price!!!! Ridiculous! I have the 2 seater version and I do not understand why the price for this thing is so high!!! I was hoping that it came with at least one of the attachments but it did not.
Second thing is the brake handle position. Honestly it is in the the perfect place If you're pushing behind it but if you're riding a bike and you get off of it to check on your kids, the trailer will move while you're walking to the back of the trailer to apply the break, which may cause your bike (if standing up) to fall over. It would have been nice to somehow apply the brake from the front as well.
Assembly was not terrible but my wife could not assemble this trailer by herself. There are 2 hooks that holds a brace In place to I guess keep the trailer upright. Well when you first try to get it to clip, it almost feels like you're going to tear the plastic or something because it's so tight. It's so tight that I have no desire to unclip it because I know my wife will not be able to re-clip it back. Will it stretch over time? I'm assuming it's possible but right now it's really really tight. I have noticed other reviewers mentioned it. It's the truth! It's tight
Last problem that I have noticed is the seat and MY kid head position. He is 23 months right now and about 26 lbs. When I checked on him, his head was down and off to the side of his body. Of course I was not happy with the position of his head so I tried to adult him, his head and his body to a more straight-up position and it was not happening. He ended up waking up for the remainder of the ride so he was fine after that but during the time he was asleep was a bit scary for me. The recline mechanism appeared like it would help the position of his head but no... it only made things worst. I plan on making something to help with the position of his head during the rides..
What DO I like?
Well based on the options that this trailer has to the others of this maker, it has the most features.
The 3 position recline is.... okay. I wish it went back further but it is what it is.
The seat with the cushion is nice. Of course I'm not sitting in it but it seems to be comfortable.
The suspension seems to be kinda a gimmick but I am glad that it is an option. You can just lower the air pressure and somewhat accomplish the same thing.
The weight of the trailer is the best thing going for it. (My opinion) I'm sure there are lighter trailers but I do not know about then and also I'm sure they would be much more expensive. As I was riding, I did not notice that I was really pulling a trailer. I'm not in the super best of shape but I was able to pull my little one with ease. A few times I had to go up a steep hill but again it was not too hard to do so I guess that's a good thing as well.
Over all, I do like it and I'm going to have to live with it because I do not plan on buying another trailer.
I hope my review helps with your decision.

Double Stroller
Melvyn✓ Verified Purchase•September 8, 2023
We bought this to use on our bike trips after having the Burley Bee and finding out this could double as a double stroller. I am a little disappointed the additional wheel cost $100, as driving this around with that metal bar gets exhausting (watching for other people). Overall though, great buy!
Love this trailer

Initially we were turned away from this trailer after reading all the negative reviews, but after getting a great discount off a cosmetically damaged item on Amazon Warehouse (box was damaged all items inside were wrapped in manufacture packaging) we went ahead with the purchase. Figured if it did not work out just return to Amazon. Fortunately stroller met all our needs. Yes it is bulky, but no bulkier than our all in one stroller (nuna demi grow that is now collecting dust after this purchase). Yes it is pricey, but again equivalent to a top end stroller. Handler bar loose or too tight? Well that was fixed by a few turns of a screw. Canopy covers not cooperating? Roll it up and tie the ends with the elastic straps, that's why they are there. No room for items in the back seat? Loosen up the back straps, push forward the seats. We can fit a soft sided cooler bag, water containers or hydro backpack. Same for when we need slack in seats for kid to nap, not ideal, similar to car seat in 45 degree position. We went for the two seater, although we only have one child, but figured our older Chihuahua can use the spare seat or floor space. We see this purchase as an investment that provides the opportunity to spend time outdoor with our child while knocking out some cardio (walk, cycle, run "”bought fixed wheel.) Also very useful when partner is in need of a break. On the subject of breaks, unless running on very steep terrain or barefoot, a hand break is not necessary. And at that point best to stop and reconsider your activities.
