Original issue was the old switch would command [lock] 24/7/365. Switch seemed mechanically fine, but this issue existed. Unplugged the old switch and the core issue went away. Replaced with this switch and it's all better. 2001 YukonXL 1500 with ~315,000 miles on it.

This product works exactly as it should and is an exact fit for my 2002 Silverado 2500HD. The install was a quick plug and play install and works great. The overall esthetic appeal is better than OEM that it replaced and the product was ~$100 less expensive than OEM or local parts store and well worth the cost savings. I plan to buy again when I replace the next switch.
Not a perfect fit, but usable.

Product arrived quickly and looked to be an exact replacement for my 2002 chevy 1500 but when installing it I saw the front clip pin to be formed higher than the original one causing the switch not to securely connect with the cover. I also saw that where the two screws go at the rear didn't seat properly making the two rear window buttons sit below the cover.
At fist I was going to ask for a return but then figured I'd just.make this part work. I drilled a tiny hole for the front clip and used the dremel to grind off the protrusions where the screws went.
It doesn't sit perfectly flush but it is barely noticeable and did fix my problem.
